Yawgmoth manages to quell the revolt by offering free serum to the Untouchables. It was better than you’d expect for something like this. After trhan has gone, Rebbec liberates Glacians body from the Phyrexians and kills the vat priests working on him and Dyfed, giving Dyfed the peace of death as well.
I highly recommend this story. Five years later, in AR, Glacianthe lead artificer of Halcyon, was wounded in a riot and contracted an unknown disease, incurable by traditional Thran medicine. I hesitate to call Yawgmoth an anti-hero because he is deliberately manipulative. He starts to bring phthisis patients to Phyrexia, where they are implanted with empty powerstones that drain away their sickness.
Staying within the limits of the already well-established sequence thdan events, King is still able to produce a fun and interesting read that has all the suspense and mystery you could ask for.
