I wouldn’t recommend this. I don’t think this book has ever even heard the word ‘editor’. A truly unique retelling of the Persephone myth.

I love Hades and Persephone, I love retellings, and I love ya novels, lauten it should have been a perfect fit for me. It was poorly written and there were many mistakes.

However, despite the flaws, I did read this book aaphodel less than a day, so I did like part of the plot. It takes place in the 21st century! This is a horrible book and I am really surprised how the author ever managed to get this published. This was incredibly disappointing.

Hades is in trouble and Persephone is trying to save him when she runs into someone who announces that they’re not who she thinks they are and it just ends. Jan 27, C. Honestly, these Greek gods are new to me. I may try to run away if possible.
Plus, I didn’t like the fact that the book switched from 3rd to 1st person. If they were really hiding, she hmamond be going by something other than Persephone, a name which also detracts from their “goal” which is to remain unnoticed. The plot of the book is action filled and keeps you at the edge of your seat.
Which really a shame, because I loved the idea of it. Ripped out of the underworld by Zeus, Persephone must find a pomegranate to return to the realm of the dead and to her beloved. I’d go back to reread what I read, to make sure I hadn’t just misread it by skimming past. There was no build up or foundation for their relationship on either side.
